Job Title: VP - Finance and Accounts
Reporting to - Managing Director
Location: Chembur
Industry: Chemical Trading
Position Overview:
The Sr./ VP – Accounts & Finance will be responsible for leading the financial strategy, planning, accounting, and compliance functions of the company. This role requires strong knowledge of financial management, working capital optimization, risk management, and trade finance specific to the chemical trading sector (domestic & international).
Key Responsibilities:
Ø Financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, Forex Management, short term and long-term borrowings, fund management, investments, disinvestments.
Ø Managing relationships with Banks and various Financial Institutions
Ø Forecast short term and long-term financial needs of the company based on business plan and projects on hand, identify sources and mobilize funds at a low cost.
Ø Manage & plan all the financial requirements of the company and should be able to cover aspects related to Banking & Finance. Tracking cash flow & financial planning. Analyzing the company's financial strength & weakness & proposing strategic directions.
Ø Manage financial controls and accounting procedures.
Ø Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual Management Report Ensure full transparency over the financial performance of the company.
Ø Provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs.
Ø Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner.
Ø Support the Management with the preparation of monthly and annual financial plans.
Ø Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments.
Ø Coordinate and produce all tax documentation as required.
Ø Keeping cash flow stable, develop accurate financial scenarios. Developing the company's budget, communicating with company’s banks regularly, overseeing financial planning & analyzing.
Ø Overall responsible for total management of Finance, Accounts, MIS, Taxation.
Ø Any other work entrusted to you by the management related to your Job position.

Key Skills & Competencies:
· Strong knowledge of financial management in trading / commodity / chemical business.
· Expertise in trade finance, forex, banking, and taxation.
· Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
· Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
· Hands-on experience with ERP/accounting systems (Spectrum/Tally/Oracle).
Qualifications & Experience:
· CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent professional qualification.
· 15+ years of experience in accounts & finance, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
· Proven track record in managing large-scale financial operations and trade finance.
