HR Manager – People & Operations
HR 6-10 Years Full Time Gurgaon
Role Overview
As the HR Manager – People & Operations, you’ll be the primary HR and administrative leader for our Gurugram office, reporting directly to the leadership team. You will own all people-related processes — hiring, onboarding, compliance, performance management, engagement, and exits — while also managing a HR executive and ensuring day-to-day discipline, punctuality, and office upkeep. You must be assertive, structured, and hands-on.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations
• Enforce attendance, punctuality, and code of conduct policies across the team
• Manage the full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, confirmations, appraisals, exits
• Own and refine HR policies, grievance redressal, and compliance tracking (e.g., PF, ESI, leaves)
• Run monthly payroll inputs, performance records, and HR MIS reporting
• Conduct 1:1s, issue warnings, or initiate disciplinary actions where necessary
• Coach the HR executive and delegate operational tasks appropriately
Office & Admin Oversight
• Act as the on-ground leader at the Gurugram office — handle space, attendance, vendor coordination, and visitor management
• Coordinate with the central admin/finance teams for procurement, utilities, and events
• Ensure office upkeep, security, and logistics for daily operations
Culture & Engagement
• Organize team events, birthday/occasion celebrations, and internal communication drives
• Build positive energy and structure across the team, balancing empathy and discipline
• Promote a culture of professionalism, accountability, and alignment with company values
Requirements
Must-Have:
• 6–10 years of HR generalist experience, with at least 2 years managing people or office ops
• Proven ability to enforce discipline and resolve conflicts constructively
• Experience with HR software (Keka), payroll coordination, and compliance
• Strong communication (English + Hindi), documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently without daily supervision or leadership presence on-site
Good to Have:
• Prior experience in a SaaS, tech startup, or high-growth company
• Familiarity with Gurugram-based vendors, labor regulations, or co-working operations
• Comfort with multi-location coordination and cross-functional communication
What We Offer
• High autonomy and visibility in a leadership-aligned role
• Chance to shape the company’s people culture as we scale
• Exposure to both strategic HR and daily operations
• Competitive compensation, team bonus eligibility, and long-term role growth
• Dynamic team with a focus on ownership, performance, and respect
