Senior Systems Test Engineer

Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications required for this role: • *Key Responsibilities:** - Prepare detailed functional test specifications for device and system tests. - Conduct Performance Reviews and coordinate training activities for continuous improvement of test personnel skills. - Eliminate single points of failure within the department's knowledge base. - Develop and maintain training materials such as video clips, slide decks, and Confluence pages. - Record and report training progress of test personnel. - Develop manual and automated tests using industry-standard test tools. - Conduct subsystem, system, and user-level testing as well as end-to-end testing. - Document test results and share findings with development teams and project stakeholders. - Liaise with Engineering departments and customers for testing projects. - Conduct tests both in-house and with customers present. - Prepare and conduct in-house reliability tests. - Coordinate and oversee test personnel's work, collate results, and report defects. - Attend project test reviews and conduct environmental tests. - Prepare and issue test reports. - Support the automation of testing activities. - Provide bid estimation support and resource allocation input. - Comply with Cubic's values and policies. • *Qualifications Required:** - Solid experience in a Product test or QA environment. - Proficiency in manual and exploratory testing, test case and plan execution. - Familiarity with TestRail and Jira. - Knowledge of testing methods, including test-driven development and automated testing. - Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Ability to write reports and proficiency in Word, Excel, and Databases. - Strong planning, coordination, and control skills. - Proficiency in Windows, Linux, SQL, Basic UNIX, and Confluence. - Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or relevant industry experience. - Six or more years of relevant experience. - ISTQB Foundation certification.
