Supply Chain Planner - Part Time

Job Description: You will be responsible for planning and maintaining daily Supply Chain operations in one or more functional areas such as materials, production, inventory, logistics, customer service, demand management, or order fulfillment to ensure internal and external customers' expectations and requirements are met. Key Responsibilities: - Develop planning system strategies to improve signals across the supply chain - Monitor and adjust parameters in the planning system - Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans - Execute the daily operational planning process within a specified functional area - Identify potential supply chain failures as part of the planning process and mitigate associated risks - Work closely with stakeholders - internal and/or external to develop short term tactical improvements - Participate in functional process improvement teams Qualifications Required: - College, university, or equivalent degree required - Minimal to intermediate level of experience required - Experience of 3-5 years in Material Planning / Procurement/Production planning - Minimum 10-12 suppliers / 300+ parts - Knowledge of Material Planning / Supplier Procurement (Must have) - Understanding of Material Availability/Shortage issues (Must have) - Experience in Inventory Reduction (preferred) - Familiarity with the use of Safety stocks (Preferred) - Exposure to Allocation Planning/Constraint planning (Nice to have) - Proficiency in System use (Oracle/SAP) (Nice to have) - Engineering Degree (Nice to have) Additional Company Details: Cummins Inc. is offering a hybrid role where you will work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The shift timing is from 12.30pm to 9.30pm. The organization values learning attitude, prioritization, and basic communication skills. The preferable industry backgrounds include Manufacturing and Automotive.
