Operations Head – Retail Stores

We are looking for an Operations Head to manage and oversee the operations of multiple retail stores for a growing furnishings business. The role involves supervising store operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning, supporting store teams, and maintaining operational standards across all locations. The candidate will currently be responsible for managing operations across 9 stores in Hyderabad, with occasional travel within Andhra Pradesh as the business expands. Key Responsibilities Multi-Store Operations Management • Oversee daily operations across all store locations • Ensure stores operate smoothly and follow company standards • Monitor store performance and operational efficiency Store Team Coordination • Work closely with store managers and team members to ensure smooth operations • Provide guidance and operational support to store teams • Ensure consistent customer experience across all stores Operational Planning & Execution • Implement operational processes and improve store efficiency • Monitor inventory coordination, store processes, and operational workflows • Identify operational challenges and resolve them proactively Cluster & Store Performance Management • Track store performance and support improvements where required • Conduct regular store visits to review operations and team performance • Ensure operational discipline and consistency across locations Coordination with Management • Work closely with leadership on operational planning and expansion • Provide updates on store performance, operational challenges, and improvements • Support the launch and setup of new stores if required Skills Required • Strong operational and organizational skills • Experience managing multiple retail locations or store clusters • Ability to lead and coordinate store teams • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability • Good communication and leadership skills Ideal Candidate Profile • 8–10 years of experience in retail operations • Experience managing multiple stores or cluster operations • Background in retail, furnishings, home décor, lifestyle products, or consumer goods will be preferred • Comfortable traveling between store locations as required Knowledge of Telugu will be an advantage for coordinating with store teams and local operations. Compensation • Salary: ₹12 – ₹15 LPA (based on experience) Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
