Strategic Account Manager, Healthcare (WESTERN USA)
POSITION INFORMATION
This position will be a key member of the Data Capture Sales Team. As a member of this team, you will be shaping the future of Datalogic’s success in the Healthcare industry.
ROLE MISSION
The Datalogic Strategic Account Manager (SAM), Healthcare, maintains and expands relationships with strategically important customers. Focus on targeting large hospital systems while working directly with DMARs focused on healthcare.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key executive personnel in assigned customer accounts.
• Develops annual business plans with assigned partners and conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure execution to plan.
• Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
• Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
• Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.
• Maintains high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards.
• Execution of strategic or tactical objectives that are assigned as part of the global or regional business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Education (School/Specialization) Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or similar from an accredited University. Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
Primary Language Fluent English; written and verbal communication
Experience Minimum of 10+ years in strategic sales in a business-to-business sales environment in the Healthcare industry (hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies and related)
Skills • Entrepreneurial, highly self-motivated, and driven to achieve a comprehensive set of performance metrics and quantitative measures.
• Strategic thought leader and trusted business partner to the Customer.
• Demonstrates an executive presence with the ability to effectively communicate and interact with executive level leaders internally and externally.
• Individual should have experience in some or all of the following areas: barcode scanning, mobile computing, wireless technology (Wi-Fi, WLAN, Bluetooth).
• Proven experience working in the Healthcare Industry with both top Tier End Users and Partners.
• Strong personal identification with Datalogic’s culture and values
Travel • This position is home based and require travel approximately 50%+ of the time
