About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and performance-driven E-Commerce Specialist to manage and optimize our online marketplace operations. The role involves managing product listings, advertising campaigns, account health, logistics coordination, and customer communication across major e-commerce platforms.
The candidate will work closely with operations, marketing, logistics, and product teams to improve sales performance, enhance product visibility, and maintain marketplace compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Product Listing & Catalog Management
● Create, upload, and optimize product listings to improve visibility and sales performance.
● Manage A+ content / enhanced cataloguing to improve product presentation.
● Enhance product titles, descriptions, bullet points, and backend keywords for better search rankings.
● Update product images and ensure compliance with white background marketplace standards.
● Activate and maintain product listings across e-commerce platforms.
● Apply for GTIN exemptions where required.
● Obtain brand approval and ensure correct product mapping.
2. Marketplace Advertising & Promotions
● Plan and manage Amazon Ads campaigns and optimize advertising performance.
● Create and manage promotional campaigns such as discount coupons and deals.
● Develop marketing initiatives to drive traffic, product discovery, and customer acquisition.
● Support social media promotions for products on platforms such as Facebook.
3. Sales Performance & Pricing Strategy
● Monitor product performance and optimize listings to improve Buy Box ownership.
● Set and adjust selling prices based on cost structure and target profit margins.
● Update product pricing and inventory levels to maintain competitiveness.
4. Marketplace Operations & Logistics
● Create and manage FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) shipments and removal orders.
● Enroll eligible products into the FBA program.
● Coordinate with logistics teams for shipment planning and inventory movement.
5. Account Health & Compliance Management
● Monitor and maintain marketplace account health metrics including:
○ Order Defect Rate (ODR)
○ Late Dispatch Rate (LDR)
○ Product Compliance Rate (PCR)
● Prepare Plan of Action (POA) documents for policy violations or account notifications.
● Handle Safe-T claims and related product safety issues.
● Manage Brand Registry and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) submissions.
6. Customer Communication & Reputation Management
● Respond promptly to buyer messages and customer queries.
● Send feedback requests to buyers on a regular basis.
● Monitor and manage customer feedback and work to remove unfair negative feedback where applicable.
7. Technical Support & Platform Coordination
● Raise support cases with marketplace platforms for technical issues.
● Coordinate with platform support teams to ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
● Maintain and update account information such as pickup address, contact details, and email information.
8. Reporting & Data Analysis
● Generate and analyze B2B and B2C sales reports.
● Monitor performance metrics and prepare periodic reports for management review.
● Create and update customized reports based on operational requirements.
