Automation Test Engineer - Cypress/Playwright Testing

Job Overview : We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in modern automation tools and cloud-based environments.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Playwright- Build and enhance automation frameworks using JavaScript / TypeScript- Execute automation test suites and analyze test results- Integrate automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines- Work closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality releases- Manage test cases and execution tracking using Zephyr Scale- Perform API and UI automation testing- Ensure test coverage across cloud-based applicationsRequired Skills : - 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing- Strong hands-on experience with Cypress and Playwright- Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript- Experience working in Cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)- Experience with Zephyr Scale for test management- Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps)- Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC- Good problem-solving and debugging skillsGood to Have : - Experience in API automation (Postman / REST Assured equivalent JS frameworks)- Knowledge of performance testing concepts- Agile/Scrum environment experience (ref: hirist.tech)
