Job Summary The Assistant Restaurant Manager at a resort supports the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hospitality. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating with kitchen teams, and ensuring smooth service operations to provide an outstanding dining experience for resort guests. Key Responsibilities Restaurant Operations - Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations within the resort. - Ensure smooth and efficient service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events. - Monitor service quality and ensure adherence to hospitality standards. Guest Experience & Service - Welcome guests and ensure they receive excellent dining service. - Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally. - Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain a positive dining experience. Staff Supervision - Supervise and coordinate restaurant captains, stewards, and service staff. - Assist in training and motivating team members. - Prepare staff schedules and assign duties during shifts. Coordination with Kitchen - Work closely with the chef and kitchen team to ensure timely food service. - Monitor food presentation, quality, and service standards. - Ensure proper communication between service staff and kitchen. Inventory & Cost Control - Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and service supplies. - Assist in managing food costs and operational expenses. - Ensure proper stock control and minimize wastage. Compliance & Hygiene - Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations. - Maintain cleanliness and proper setup of dining areas. - Follow resort and hospitality industry standards. Required Skills - Solid leadership and team management skills - Excellent customer service and communication abilities - Knowledge of restaurant operations and hospitality standards - Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently - Good organizational and multitasking skills Educational Qualifications - Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management / Hospitality Management preferred Experience - 3–6 years experience in restaurant or hotel F&B; service - Experience in resort or luxury hospitality preferred Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month Benefits: - Food provided - Provident Fund Work Location: In person
