Hygiene Supervisor

The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, manage housekeeping staff, and maintain a clean, safe, and pleasant environment for customers and employees. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement hygiene protocols in accordance with company policies and government regulations. • Conduct regular audits and inspections of store premises (sales floor, restrooms, storage, food sections, etc.). • Supervise cleaning schedules and ensure proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies. • Train and monitor housekeeping and sanitation staff on hygiene practices and safety procedures. • Maintain records of sanitation activities, cleaning logs, and incident reports. • Liaise with local authorities and external agencies on hygiene-related inspections and certifications. • Manage pest control measures and coordinate with third-party vendors if required. • Handle hygiene-related complaints and implement corrective actions. • Monitor waste disposal systems and ensure eco-friendly practices where applicable. • Maintain inventory of hygiene supplies and raise purchase requests as necessary. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Environmental Science, Public Health, or related field. • Minimum 3–10 years of experience in a hygiene or sanitation management role, preferably in retail, hospitality, or facility management. • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards. • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hygiene auditing tools.
