General Physician (GP) – Home Visits

The General Physician will provide primary medical consultation and management of acute and chronic conditions through scheduled home visits. The role includes clinical evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, basic procedures, and follow-up care. Key Responsibilities • Evaluate and manage common acute and chronic medical conditions • Assess symptoms such as fever, cough, cold, body pain, weakness, breathlessness, abdominal pain, and infections • Conduct physical examinations using portable diagnostic tools • Prescribe medications and recommend appropriate investigations • Provide follow-up care and monitor treatment response • Perform basic procedures feasible in home settings (e.g., BP check, blood sugar check, basic wound assessment) • Identify cases requiring hospital-based care and refer accordingly • Explain diagnosis, treatment plan, and medications clearly • Advise on preventive care and lifestyle modifications Qualifications • MBBS • Valid State Medical Council Registration • 2+ years clinical experience Skills & Competencies • Strong clinical judgment • Good communication and patient counselling skills • Ability to work independently • Professional and empathetic approach
