Legal Counsel (GST & Customs) (India)

Role Description: - Full-time in office role available at DS Advocates in Chennai for 3 Associates. - Responsibilities include performing Indirect Tax related work (GST & Customs), drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, providing legal advice, maintaining client relations, assisting in court proceedings, and ensuring compliance. Qualifications: - Prior experience in GST compliance and advisory work (2-3 years). - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must. - Prior experience in Customs advisory and department related work (2-3 years). - Experience in Client Relations and Court Proceedings. - Knowledge of Indirect Tax laws. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. - Legal industry experience is a plus. - Qualifications: CA./ Lawyer/ semi-qualified CA/ graduate.
