Role Overview:
The Head of Project Management will be responsible for leading the organization's Project Management Office (PMO) and ensuring successful execution of strategic, operational, and expansion initiatives. This role will drive structured project governance, cross-functional alignment, timeline adherence, budget control, and performance tracking across all key initiatives. The incumbent will act as the central execution leader, ensuring business priorities are translated into measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• PMO Establishment & Governance:
• Establish and lead centralized Project Management Office (PMO).
• Define project governance framework, SOPs, and reporting structures.
• Standardize project planning, execution, and review mechanisms.
• Implement risk management and escalation matrices.
• Strategic Project Execution:
• Drive execution of organization-wide strategic initiatives.
• Monitor expansion projects (new verticals, new centers, new launches).
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget.
• Align projects with long-term business roadmap.
• Cross-Functional Coordination:
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, Marketing, and other departments.
• Remove execution bottlenecks.
• Ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Drive accountability across departments.
• Budget & Resource Management:
• Monitor project budgets and cost control.
• Optimize resource allocation.
• Ensure ROI tracking for major initiatives.
• Prepare variance analysis reports.
• Risk & Performance Monitoring:
• Identify project risks and mitigation strategies.
• Conduct weekly/monthly project review meetings.
• Maintain dashboards and project tracking tools.
• Escalate delays proactively to leadership.
• Expansion & New Initiative Rollout:
• Lead new business launch projects.
• Oversee infrastructure setup and operational readiness.
• Manage vendor coordination and external partnerships.
• Ensure structured rollout execution.
• Leadership & Team Development:
• Lead project managers and cross-functional teams.
• Define KRAs and accountability frameworks.
• Develop project management capability within organization.
• Build second-line project leadership.
Eligibility Criteria:
• 10+ years of experience in project management.
• Minimum 5+ years in leadership role managing enterprise projects.
• Experience in scaling multi-location or multi-vertical organizations preferred.
• Strong exposure to project governance and PMO frameworks.
• PMP / Prince2 / Agile certifications preferred.
