QA/QC Lead Engineer

You will be part of a fast-paced environment at EBizCharge, headquartered in Irvine, California, that specializes in integrated payment solutions for electronic payment processing within various applications. As a seasoned QA Engineer II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality control of multiple B2B software products. • *Key Responsibilities:** - Interpret and translate product requirements into test cases and lead testing for B2B software products (web, desktop, and mobile). - Develop and implement test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports for software projects of varying sizes and platforms. - Collaborate with various teams including product owners, developers, designers, support analysts, and leadership. - Conduct manual regression testing and test new features and fixes daily. - Track quality assurance metrics, monitor defect densities, and efforts to resolve product issues. - Stay updated on new testing tools and strategies. - Identify areas for process improvement related to product release management and bug fixes. • *Qualifications Required:** - BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline preferred. - 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual software testing, including regression and performance testing. - Proficiency in Jira. - Experience with ERP/accounting systems and/or eCommerce platforms. - Familiarity with Scrum/Agile environments. - Experience with payment gateways and Xray software preferred. - Experience with testing APIs (Rest or SOAP). - Proficiency in black box and white box testing.
