Automotive Service Technician

​1. Basic Assembly (Mechanical & Electrical) ​Frame & Body: Fitting seats, roof structures, windshields, and side panels. ​Wheels & Suspension: Mounting tires, checking air pressure, and ensuring shock absorbers are correctly seated. ​Battery Connection: Installing battery banks (Lead-Acid or Lithium) and ensuring all terminal connections are tight and corrosion-free. ​2. Basic Commissioning ​Power-Up: Turning on the system and checking the digital instrument cluster. ​Drive Testing: Verifying forward/reverse functions and testing the accelerator response. ​Lighting & Safety: Ensuring headlamps, indicators, horn, and reverse beepers are working. ​3. Simple Troubleshooting (Common Fixes) ​Charging Issues: Checking the charger-to-buggy "handshake" and testing charging ports for loose pins. ​Brake Adjustments: Tightening or bleeding hydraulic brakes to ensure crisp stopping power. ​Wiring Checks: Fixing loose connectors or "ghost" electrical faults caused by vibrations during transport. ​Alignment: Simple steering wheel centering and toe-in adjustments. ​Requirements ​Experience: 1–2 years in a garage or automobile assembly line. ​Skills: * Comfortable using basic hand tools (spanners, screwdrivers, socket sets). ​Able to use a multimeter to check battery voltage and continuity. ​Basic understanding of how electric motors and controllers connect. ​Education: ITI or Diploma with strong mechanical experience.
