CATIA Design engineer

Job Title: Design Engineer – CATIA (Automotive Safety Systems) Location: Manesar, Haryana Experience: 5–8 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Preferred Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite Salary: Competitive, as per experience Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Design Engineer with strong expertise in CATIA for Automotive Safety System projects. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Airbag, Steering Wheel, or Seatbelt design and exposure to OEM customer interaction. Key Responsibilities • Create design concepts and proposals based on RFQ and customer specifications. • Develop and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA V5/V6. • Work on Airbag, Steering Wheel, or Seatbelt component design and development. • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including testing, manufacturing, and quality. • Identify design issues and provide effective engineering solutions. • Support project planning, timelines, documentation, and deliverables. • Work closely with OEM customers, preferably with exposure to Maruti Suzuki projects. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience in CATIA V5/V6. • Experience in Automotive Safety Systems design. • Knowledge of RFQ-based design proposal preparation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and teamwork abilities. Qualification BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
