Cafe Captain (India)

A Cafe Captain supervises front-of-house staff, manages daily service operations, and ensures high-quality guest experiences. Key responsibilities include training staff, managing inventory, optimizing table turnover, and resolving customer complaints. They act as the bridge between the kitchen and service team, maintaining strict hygiene and service standards. Key Responsibilities - Service Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise service staff, conducting pre-shift briefings and ensuring adherence to service standards. - Operational Control: Oversee daily F&B; operations, including managing seating, reservations, and workflow for efficient service. - Guest Experience: Greet guests, handle special requests, and promptly resolve complaints to ensure satisfaction. - Inventory & Hygiene: Maintain inventory levels, conduct stock checks, and monitor health, safety, and cleanliness protocols. - Performance Tracking: Monitor staff attendance and performance, managing duty rosters to optimize productivity. - Menu Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of the menu to assist with recommendations, upselling, and addressing guest inquiries.
