Job Description Job Role/Job Description: What roles and responsibilities will be performed by the selected candidate? • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and other Azure services. • Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). • Implement data integration solutions across multiple sources and ensure data quality and consistency. • Analyze and understand business logic embedded in stored procedures and assist in rewriting or optimizing them for better performance and maintainability. • Design and implement robust data models (star/snowflake schemas), optimizing relationships, cardinality, and performance. • Develop advanced and high-performance DAX measures (time intelligence, complex calculations, optimization techniques). • Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and role-based access to ensure secure, governed data consumption. • Build scalable, interactive Power BI reports and dashboards, following best practices for usability and performance. • Configure report scheduling, refresh, and delivery using Power BI Service, gateways, subscriptions, and alerts. What is the expectation from the candidate’s current role/profile? • Solid experience in data engineering or related roles. • Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, stored procs, performance tuning). • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL Database). • Solid understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. • Intermediate to Advance level Power BI Skillset • Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data pipelines. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
