The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in SAP BASIS, strong technical expertise in administering SAP systems hosted in AWS and Azure, and experience managing SAP on Linux as well as a solid background in SAP HANA and SAP ASE (Sybase). Hands-on experience with SAP BTP and SAP Datasphere will be considered a plus.Key Responsibilities:Handle BAU SAP Basis activities, like system copies (SAP Refreshes), system monitoring (availability, performance, and capacity), troubleshooting, configurations, patching, etc.System performance analysis and tuning, HA/DR setup and monitoring.Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues affecting our SAP systems or Satellite Apps, having the ability to navigate through different applications, databases, and operating systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support SAP projects, including implementations, migrations, and upgrades.Perform system health checks, help define and enforce SAP security and all audit-related controls, capacity planning, and performance optimization.Apply support packages, kernel upgrades, and security patches.Support SAP BTP environments, assisting with cloud-based integrations and extensions as needed.Document technical procedures, system configurations, and best practices.Work in shifts.Key Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT) or equivalent.Relevant SAP, Cloud, and OS/DB courses, workshops, certifications.Aware of the latest SAP technologies, tools, and best practices.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.Nice to Have:Hands-on experience with SAP BTP.Familiarity with SAP Datasphere.Other Details:This position is based in Pune, India, and may require working in shifts.
