Year 3 Teacher Position Type Teaching Commence Date 18 May 2026 to 14 May 2027 Employment Status Fixed Term / Contract FTE/Hours per week Full Time Year Levels Primary Role Details The Middle Primary Years teacher will work collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, parents/caregivers and others, to facilitate positive learning by students and engage in educational reform. The teacher is responsible to the Principal directly, and/or through the relevant PORs and/or delegate: - For the development and implementation of the designated areas of curriculum. - For their students’, colleagues' and own health, safety and welfare. - For ensuring a protected place or equipment designated or chosen for specific activities is provided. The successful applicant will: - Actively support and contribute to the Catholic Identity of Emmaus Catholic School, and be willing to contribute to the life of the school. - Demonstrate highly developed skills and knowledge in designing dynamic and inclusive programs in the Middle Primary Years founded upon the Live Lead Learn Framework and evidence-based pedagogies. - Demonstrate experience and capability in using data to support planning to meet the needs of individual students. - Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing positive and collaborative relationships with colleagues, students and parents. - Demonstrate a sound understanding of the implementation of Restorative Practices and Social and Emotional Learning to promote student connectedness, engagement and regulation. - Be a dynamic, positive and passionate educator who is committed to ongoing professional learning, and eager to embrace contemporary practices. The successful candidate will be required to provide relevant documentation and clearances, including Teacher's Registration, First Aid Certificate, Working With Children's Check, RHAN-EC, Catholic Clearance (if available).
