• Back to Career Portal Senior Oracle APPS DBA • 9 - 15 years of experience • Bengaluru, Chennai • Full-Time (Hybrid) Job Summary The Oracle Apps DBA is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Databases. This role involves performing installations, upgrades, patches, backups, and troubleshooting, ensuring that the system operates efficiently and meets business requirements. Key Responsibilities • Strong experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 11i/R12 and Oracle database administration (Oracle 11g/12c/19c). • Install, configure, and maintain Oracle E-Business Suite applications. • Apply patches and updates to Oracle EBS, including functional and technical patches. • Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle applications. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle applications and databases. • Backup and restore Oracle databases using RMAN (Recovery Manager) or other tools. • Perform database performance tuning, including query optimization and indexing. • Implement and manage data security and user access policies. • Proficiency in Oracle database tuning, backup, recovery, and troubleshooting. • Experience with Oracle EBS patching, cloning, and migration techniques. • Knowledge of Oracle WebLogic Server, OAM, and other Oracle technologies. • Experience with shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL for automation and troubleshooting. • Database RMAN backups, restores and recoveries. • OEM monitoring, identifying performance issues. • Unix, Linux basic support, shell scripting. • Preferable to have knowledge in OCI. • Good Leadership and commitment towards project management.
