As an Operations Excellence Manager at Epiroc, your role is pivotal in enhancing operational capabilities across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. You will work closely with Global Operations under the direct supervision of the Vice President Marketing & Operations-APAC to transform service operations for delivering best-in-class performance.
• *Role Overview:**
Your primary focus will be on three key objectives:
- Developing a competent and skilled team in the industry.
- Implementing industry-leading standards in Service Operations.
- Collaborating strategically with Marketing and Sales teams to drive profitable growth.
• *Key Responsibilities:**
- Partner with divisional and local leadership to identify strategic priorities and develop actionable plans.
- Accelerate the certification process of service technicians at TL1 and TL2 levels.
- Assess and define future competency and skill requirements aligning with emerging technologies.
- Lead rotation and exchange programs to facilitate knowledge transfer and implement best practices.
- Support comprehensive training initiatives and talent attraction efforts.
- Establish and nurture a network of internal experts across APAC.
- Drive communication of best practices, policies, and procedures for continuous improvement.
- Standardize certification and quality assurance processes for service agreements and workshop operations.
- Champion Lean principles implementation in workshops and service agreements.
• *Qualifications Required:**
- Hold an engineering degree or equivalent extensive experience.
- Bring at least 15 years of progressive experience in operations.
- Demonstrate fluency in English; proficiency in a second language is advantageous.
- Exhibit strong expertise in Service Management Systems.
- Possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Display advanced analytical and reasoning skills.
- Adaptability and cultural sensitivity to effectively work across varied countries and teams within APAC.
