SOC Analyst Intern

Duration : 6 Months Rotational Shifts Stipend : ₹ 15000 per month Full time opportunity will be provided based on internship performance. Responsibilities: · Use SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools to analyze alerts. · Identify potential security incidents and escalate them as necessary. · Conduct basic analysis of security logs from firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus, and other tools. · Assist in the investigation and documentation of security incidents. · Contribute to root cause analysis and reporting. · Research emerging cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. · Prepare reports and summaries for identified incidents or trends. · Participate in the development of playbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs). · Work closely with senior SOC analysts and other cybersecurity team members to enhance your understanding of security operations. Qualifications • Degree/diploma in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. • Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, including malware, phishing, and firewalls. • Familiarity with security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, or antivirus software (preferred but not mandatory). • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Good communication skills (English). Preferred Skills: • Certification(s) like CEH, or any relevant coursework.
