Senior Frontend Engineer & AI Enablement

Job Description You will be joining the AI Enablement team at Experian, a global data and technology company, where you will play a crucial role in building a unified platform that allows product and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate AI capabilities into their customer experiences. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing and constructing the Widget Host Application and the UI contribution surface. This will enable teams to effortlessly incorporate AI-driven widgets, tools, and experiences in a scalable and extensible manner. Key Responsibilities - Frontend Platform Development - Architect and develop the Widget Host App to facilitate secure, scalable, and flexible embedding of AI widgets across products. - Construct the UI contribution framework, allowing teams to register, customize, and render UI components consistently across surfaces. - Embrace a strict test-first discipline by employing unit, integration, and UI component testing frameworks. - Uphold quality practices across the team and contribute to automated pipelines. - Extensible UI Platform Design - Devise plug-in models, contribution APIs, and extensible patterns that empower teams to swiftly create and deploy UI features. - Influence the architecture for widget lifecycle management, sandboxing, secure rendering, and communication patterns. - Collaborate with backend, design, and product teams to deliver end-to-end AI experiences. - Operate with a platform mindset where your success is gauged by how easily and rapidly other teams can build on your UI platform. - Generate documentation, samples, and SDKs to expedite adoption. Required Qualifications - Strong experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript. - In-depth understanding of frontend architecture, component-driven development, state management, and build systems. - Test-first mindset with proficiency in Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright/Cypress, or similar tools. - Previous involvement in building or contributing to extensible UI platforms, plugin frameworks, or micro-frontend architectures. - Proficient in web security, performance optimization, and UI scalability. Preferred Qualifications - Familiarity with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar tool/agent frameworks. - Exposure to event-driven architectures, streaming platforms, or asynchronous pipelines. - Knowledge of AI ecosystems such as vector stores, embeddings, RAG, or agent frameworks. - Experience in constructing internal developer platforms or enablement tooling.
