Backend Developer (AI Focus) - Internship

About the internship: We are looking for a passionate and driven backend developer who has a strong interest in AI tools and modern development practices. This internship is ideal for candidates who love building projects, experimenting with AI-powered tools, and continuously upgrading their technical skills. Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include: 1. Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications (frontend + backend). 2. Build responsive user interfaces using modern frameworks. 3. Develop REST APIs and integrate third-party services. 4. Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, APIs) to improve development efficiency and problem-solving. 5. Contribute to AI-powered features such as chatbots, automation tools, smart dashboards, or AI-based search. 6. Debug, test, and optimize applications for performance and scalability. 7. Document development processes and project workflows. Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field. 2. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 3. Understanding of backend (Node.js/Python/PHP/Java – any one). 4. Basic understanding of frontend frameworks. 5. Understanding of databases (MySQL/MongoDB/PostgreSQL). 6. Familiarity with Git and version control. 7. Regular use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT for development workflows. 8. Ability to write effective prompts for generating, debugging, and refactoring code. 9. Familiarity with integrating AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into web or backend projects. 10. Understanding of how to collaborate with AI tools as a 'co-developer' in daily coding.
