Business Analyst – Finance & Digital Platforms

Experience: 0–2 Years Location: [Bangalore / Hybrid / Remote] We are looking for a Business Analyst who thinks in systems, documents with precision, and moves confidently between accounting logic and product workflows. This is not a passive documentation role. You will help define how platforms behave. The Role You will operate at the intersection of: • Product design • Technical implementation • Process governance Your core responsibility is to convert operational ambiguity into structured documentation and visual clarity. Key Responsibilities Functional Architecture & Documentation • Translate business requirements into structured FRDs and User Stories • Define acceptance criteria and workflow logic • Maintain traceability from requirement → design → build Wireframing & Workflow Design • Create low- to mid-fidelity wireframes in Figma • Visualise user journeys, approval flows and financial process logic • Ensure UI/UX alignment with accounting realities Governance & Knowledge Management • Maintain structured project documentation in Confluence • Act as documentation custodian across projects • Enforce naming conventions and version discipline Required Skills & Background Education • Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline • OR IT/Design background with accounting certification Core Competencies • Strong logical reasoning • High attention to detail • Ability to context-switch between creative product thinking and strict financial rules • Structured, clear communicator Tools • Figma (Layouts, Components) • Confluence & JIRA • GitHub • MS Excel (advanced proficiency preferred) Preferred Exposure • AR/AP, Reconciliation, Month-end / Year-end closing, Financial Reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet) and Tax compliance fundamentals • Exposure to eCommerce, ERP, CRM or HR systems
