Role Overview: As a Human Resource Manager for a retail supermarket chain in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, you will play a crucial role in leading and strengthening the people systems across the supermarket operations. Your focus will be on building a positive work culture, driving performance, and creating efficient HR systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end recruitment for store & warehouse operations - Develop structured onboarding & induction programs - Implement HR policies aligned with retail operations - Handle payroll coordination & statutory compliance (PF, ESI, Shops & Establishment Act) - Drive employee engagement initiatives across departments - Manage attendance, leave, and performance tracking systems - Create training calendars for sales, billing & store teams - Handle employee grievances and disciplinary procedures - Build second-line leadership within store teams - Support expansion hiring as the chain grows Qualification Required: - 37 years of HR experience (Retail experience preferred) - Strong knowledge of Tamil Nadu labor laws - Hands-on experience in recruitment & operations HR - Good communication skills in Tamil & English - Ability to work closely with business heads Role Overview: As a Human Resource Manager for a retail supermarket chain in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, you will play a crucial role in leading and strengthening the people systems across the supermarket operations.
