Business Intelligence (Data Modeler) Experience: 6–9 Years Location: Remote (India) Employment Type: Contract to Hire (C2H) Duration: 12 Months Role Overview We are looking for a highly skilled Business Intelligence – Data Modeler to design, build, and migrate enterprise-grade data models and analytics platforms. The role involves migration of legacy BI systems (OBIEE, SQL Server DW) to modern cloud-based platforms (Snowflake, Tableau) while owning canonical enterprise data models and shared dimensions. The ideal candidate must have strong BFSI domain experience and deep expertise in dimensional modeling, cloud data warehousing, and modern data engineering frameworks. Key Responsibilities • Lead migration of legacy BI reports from OBIEE to Tableau. • Migrate SQL Server Data Warehouse to Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse. • Design and maintain enterprise-level canonical and dimensional data models. • Own enterprise entities, shared dimensions, and canonical definitions, ensuring reusability across domains. • Implement financial data domain models aligned with BFSI regulatory and reporting requirements. • Design data pipelines using DBT, Airflow, AWS, and modern orchestration tools. • Architect Medallion Architecture (Bronze–Silver–Gold layers) for scalable analytics. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust data models. • Ensure data governance, data quality, lineage, and performance optimization. • Drive best practices for cloud data warehousing, ETL design, and analytics engineering.
