About the Role:
We are looking for a Software QA Engineer – Automation with strong frontend and mobile focus, and a passion for building reliable, high-speed, scalable quality systems using AI-first practices.
This is an execution-focused role where you will design and own automation frameworks across Web and Mobile platforms. You will work closely with frontend (React/Web), Android, and iOS engineers to drive release confidence, fast regression cycles, and production-grade reliability.
We are looking for someone with strong ownership who understands system internals, is comfortable with whitebox testing, and can deeply troubleshoot issues using logs and debugging tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to accelerate test design and improve coverage.
Design and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, and Appium.
Write clean, maintainable automation code in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Build fast, reliable, low-flakiness test suites integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Perform whitebox testing by understanding application flows, business logic, and frontend–API interactions.
Troubleshoot complex UI and integration issues through strong debugging and log analysis.
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve testability, coverage, and overall release quality.
About you:
2 – 5 years of QA automation experience with frontend or mobile focus.
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium; Appium for mobile automation.
Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Comfortable with whitebox testing and reading code to understand system behavior.
Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and log analysis skills.
Strong ownership mindset with focus on reliability, speed, and quality outcomes.
Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity).
Exposure to AI-assisted development/testing tools is a plus.
