Responsibilities of a Ward Boy • Patient Assistance: Helping patients with mobility (wheelchairs/stretcher), bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom. • Ward Hygiene & Upkeep: Cleaning, sanitizing patient rooms, and changing bed linens. • Support Services: Transporting samples to labs, fetching medicines, and serving meals to patients. • Assisting Medical Staff: Assisting nurses and doctors during examinations, procedures, and shifting patients. • Physical Stamina: The job involves lifting, moving patients, and being on feet for long periods. • Following hospital safety, hygiene, and infection control protocols.
