You will build personalized experiences for gamers on the Play Store through Machine Learning (ML) recommendations and help users know about the latest updates in their favorite games. You will build user-facing features for billions of users that visit the Play Store. You will mostly own back ends (pipelines and servers) and collaborate closely with teams that build client functionality in the Play Store. You will frequently run live experiments to understand which user experiences are best before launching them. Responsibilities • Design and implement solutions in one or more specialized ML areas, leverage ML infrastructure, and demonstrate expertise in a chosen field. • Focus on ML infrastructure across different aspects of personalization, game personalization, game content personalizaton, offer personalization, tips and tricks. • Be an expert in the team both in offline training and production deployment/debugging. Become familiar with TPUs, deep models and LLMs. • Handle user data including user privacy, regulatory and compliance, and other legal issues with user data.
