Our focus is simple: less theory, more building. Role Description We’re hiring a Sales Associate at Grit. This is not a target-chasing, script-reading sales job. This is founder-led, relationship-driven selling inside the startup ecosystem. You’ll work directly with the founder and core team to drive conversations, close opportunities, and build long-term relationships across founders, operators, and partners. If you want to understand how high-trust, early-stage sales actually works, this is your seat. What you'll do • Drive outbound outreach to founders, startups, and ecosystem partners • Own and manage the sales pipeline end-to-end • Lead discovery conversations and qualify opportunities • Build structured follow-ups and move deals toward closure • Identify partnership and revenue opportunities within the ecosystem • Bring process and consistency to fast-moving sales cycles • Work closely with the founder on high-priority deals Who this is for • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or startup roles • Strong communication and persuasion skills • Comfort speaking with founders and decision-makers • High ownership mindset with strong follow-through • Ability to operate in ambiguity without waiting for instructions • Structured thinking with a bias toward execution Why join grit • Direct exposure to founder-led sales conversations • Real ownership and visibility on revenue-driving initiatives • Deep understanding of how ecosystem-driven selling works • Opportunity to grow into larger revenue and strategy roles • Access to a network of experienced operators and builders We’re not building a conventional sales team.
