Backend Engineer - Node.js Framework

As a backend developer at the Fintech Company in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of backend services using Node.js. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Node.js. - Working with PostgreSQL and MongoDB to design efficient, scalable database structures. - Developing and optimizing RESTful APIs. - Implementing authentication & authorization (OAuth, JWT, etc.). - Writing scalable, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. - Optimizing application performance and database queries. - Collaborating with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams. - Ensuring security and data protection best practices. - Working with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for deployment automation. - Implementing caching strategies using Redis or similar technologies. - Debugging production issues and participating in code reviews. Qualifications required for this role include: - 1-8+ years of experience in backend development. - Strong expertise in Node.js (Express.js or similar frameworks). - Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL & MongoDB. - Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.). - Strong understanding of Git and CI/CD pipelines. - Experience in Docker & Kubernetes is a plus. - Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
