Description Perform quality audits as per laid down policies and ensuring that SOPs are followed, and deviations are addressed on a timely basis CorporateDescription OrganizationDescription Qualifications • Graduate or postgraduate with good academic record • Good understanding of accounting standards • Exposure to SAP would be preferred, good excel skills • Minimum 5-7 years’ experience, shipping industry would be preferred Success Criteria for Position: • Good command over written and spoken English • Attention to detail. • Presentation and report writing skills. • Positive attitude and team player as well as able to work independently. • Commitment to tasks Responsibilities • Performing quality audit across AR, AP and GL • Ensure compliance with the laid down policies • Submission and discussion of reports • Verification of FSCM comments on overdue receivables • Supporting other tasks in the quality function • Verification of unidentified credits in bank suspense account and trying to identify the customer. • Verification of operational and overhead invoices as to whether approvals are in place, local sales taxes/GST is properly recorded, income tax is deducted as per applicable provisions
