At HCL Software we Develop, Market, Sell and Support over 20 Product families in the areas of Customer Experience, Digital Solutions, Secure DevOps, Security & Automation. Job Summary: - We are looking for a Sr. Database Administrator ( Maria DB ) with 3+ Yrs of Strong experience in supporting P roduction Database Environments . The role involves day-to-day database operations, incident troubleshooting, patching, and ensuring high. Technical Skills Required: - • IBM DB2 – Strong knowledge of DB2 LUW, HADR, and TSA. • Maria DB – Experience with Inno DB, Column Store, replication, and Galera Cluster. Medium Priority: - • Oracle – Experience with RAC, Data Guard, and RMAN. • PostgreSQL – Good working knowledge of database maintenance and support. Key Responsibilities: - • Provide production support for databases, including issue identification and troubleshooting • Participate in service calls and incident management activities • Perform database patching, upgrades, and routine maintenance • Support high availability and disaster recovery setups • Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to ensure system stability. Foundational: - • MongoDB – Basic knowledge of replication, sharding, and document-based databases. Additional Requirements: - • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Experience working in 24×7 production support environments • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Btech/BE in Computer Science or related technical field or proof of exceptional skills in related fields with practical software engineering experience. • Location: Bangalore / Hydride / Remote.
