Position Title – Technical Trainer – Digital Skilling (AI / Data Science / Emerging Technologies) Location: Nagpur (Maharashtra) Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) Raichur (Karnataka) Reports to (Title) Head – Project Manager Synopsis of Role The Trainer – Digital Skilling will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of AI, Data Science, and emerging digital technology training programs as per the approved project curriculum. The role integrates training delivery, learner mobilisation support, documentation and compliance, learner progress monitoring, and employability readiness, and may be executed at HHH training centres and/or partner educational institutes. The trainer will ensure high-quality, application-oriented training delivery, timely curriculum completion, accurate documentation, and learner readiness for employment, particularly for learners from non-technical, rural, and underserved backgrounds. Responsibilities 1. Training Delivery & Academic Responsibilities • Deliver instructor-led training sessions on AI, Data Science, Digital Tools, and related emerging technologies as per approved curriculum, session plans, and training schedules. • Training will focus on application-oriented understanding of AI and data concepts, use of relevant tools, and practical problem-solving. • Deliver training at training centres and/or partner institutes, as assigned. • Adapt content for non-technical learners, using simple explanations, real-life examples, and hands-on activities. • Ensure completion of curriculum and training hours within defined project timelines. • Conduct practical sessions, hands-on exercises, simulations, case studies, and activity-based learning. • Support learners in understanding industry relevance, real-world applications, and digital career pathways. 2. Learner Mobilisation & Batch Support • Support learner mobilisation in coordination with project teams, centre coordinators, where applicable. • Conduct orientation and induction sessions explaining course objectives, timelines, attendance expectations, assessments, and career pathways. • Assist in learner onboarding, eligibility verification, and documentation as per project requirements. • Motivate learners to maintain regular attendance, discipline, and active participation throughout the training cycle 3. Attendance, Monitoring & Learner Progress Tracking • Maintain daily attendance records in prescribed physical and/or digital formats. • Track individual learner progress, participation, and learning outcomes using approved trackers or dashboards. • Identify slow learners or at-risk participants and provide remedial academic support or mentoring. • Monitor improvements in digital skills, confidence, employability readiness, and career orientation. 4. Assessments & Learning Evaluation • Conduct baseline, periodic, and endline assessments as defined by the project. • Ensure accurate documentation, validation, and timely submission of all assessment-related records. • Analyse assessment results and provide constructive, actionable feedback to learners and the project team. • Support course completion and certification processes, wherever applicable. 5. Documentation, Compliance & Reporting • Ensure 100% compliance with project documentation requirements, including: • Attendance trackers • Curriculum coverage reports • Session plans and training schedules • Baseline and endline assessment records • Learner profiles, consent forms, and supporting documents • Maintain records strictly in prescribed formats and timelines. • Submit monthly training and compliance reports, covering: • Curriculum/modules completed • Training hours delivered vs planned • Attendance summaries • Learner performance highlights • Key challenges and mitigation measures 6. Coordination with Training Centres & Partner Institutes • Coordinate with Training Centre Managers/Coordinators for infrastructure, labs, equipment, and scheduling. • Where deployed at partner institutes, liaise with Institute Principals, faculty members, placement officers, and administrative staff. • Represent the project professionally and responsibly across all training locations. 7. Placement & Career Readiness Support • Support job aspiration mapping of learners based on skills, interests, and local employment opportunities. • Conduct structured sessions on: • Workplace readiness • Professional behaviour and communication • Resume preparation and interview basics • Motivate learners—especially first-generation and hesitant participants—to transition into employment, apprenticeships, or entry-level digital roles. • Coordinate with the project placement team for interviews, job fairs, and employer engagement activities. 8. Learner Safeguarding & Ethical Conduct • Ensure a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment at all training locations. • Maintain confidentiality of learner data and records. • Demonstrate sensitivity to gender, social, and economic diversity. 9. Project Activities & Additional Responsibilities • Support implementation of project-specific activities, including guest lectures, industry interactions, hackathons, bootcamps, and exposure visits. • Participate in monitoring visits by Project team, donors or partners. • Perform any other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer, aligned with project objectives. Performance Measurement Performance will be assessed based on: • Timely completion of curriculum and training hours • Learner attendance and retention rates • Improvement between baseline and endline assessments Key Skills & Competencies • Accuracy and timeliness of documentation and reporting • Learner transition to interviews, internships, apprenticeships, or employment • Strong training, facilitation, and classroom management skills • Ability to simplify and contextualise complex technical concepts • High standards of documentation, compliance, and reporting discipline • Effective stakeholder coordination and communication • Ownership, adaptability, and adherence to timelines • Sensitivity to inclusion and learner diversity • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and digital tracking tools • Contact Details · Falguni Khatke · Email: falguni.khatke@head-held-high.org Qualifications & desired experience Essential • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, IT, Data Science, or related disciplines • Freshers with strong subject knowledge, hands-on skills, and demonstrated training or facilitation aptitude are also eligible • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in digital skilling or technology training delivery • Experience working in training centres, educational institutions, CSR projects, or community programs Desirable • Experience working with rural youth, non-technical learners, or underserved communities • Certification in AI, Data Science, Python, or Digital Tools • Familiarity with project-based training documentation and digital reporting systems
