Game Data Analyst – Highbrow Interactive | Chennai, India (On-Site, 2–5 Years Experience) Highbrow Interactive is looking for a data-driven and product-focused Game Data Analyst to join our team in Chennai. If you enjoy understanding player behavior, identifying growth opportunities through data, and helping teams make smarter product decisions, this role is for you. We build high-quality simulation and tycoon games enjoyed by 160M+ players worldwide, including Indian Train Simulator, the Truck Masters series, and upcoming global titles. What You’ll Do • Analyze retention across the player lifecycle (D1–D30) and identify opportunities to improve engagement and long-term player value • Build and analyze funnels across onboarding (FTUE), progression, and core game systems to identify drop-offs and friction points • Track feature usage and player behavior to evaluate adoption, engagement depth, and impact on retention • Monitor monetization performance including ARPDAU, ARPPU, payer conversion, and the effectiveness of offers, events, and pricing • Build LTV models and cohort projections to support user acquisition and growth decisions • Support product decisions through A/B testing by defining success metrics and analyzing experiment results • Build simple performance dashboards and deliver structured weekly insights with clear, actionable recommendations • Define tracking requirements based on product needs and maintain event documentation in collaboration with engineering • Proactively explore and implement AI-driven approaches to automate recurring analysis, reporting, and insight generation to improve speed, scale, and decision turnaround What We’re Looking For • 2–5 years of experience in product or game analytics • Strong SQL and Excel / Google Sheets skills • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Firebase, GameAnalytics, or similar platforms • Strong understanding of cohorts, funnels, retention, and free-to-play product metrics • Ability to translate product and business questions into structured analysis • Comfortable working closely with Product, Design, and Growth teams • Clear communicator who can present insights to non-technical stakeholders • Curious, detail-oriented, and impact-focused mindset • Practical approach — focused on decisions and measurable outcomes About Highbrow InteractiveHighbrow Interactive is one of India’s leading simulation game studios — creators of Indian Train Simulator, the Truck Masters series, and upcoming global idle tycoon titles.
