About the job: Designation: Quality Control Officer Location : Haldia ROLE PURPOSE Responsible for monitoring the process efficiency and quality of output in the plant and to recommend and implement initiatives to improve the same. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Operational • Responsible for quality control and assurance at the plant in line with the corporate plan of Hincol. • Network with key customers to understand the nature of complaints and customer issues related to quality. • Co-ordinate with marketing on key quality issues related to customer complaints and assist marketing and operations resolve these issues in a timely and effective manner. • Set standards for raw material and product quality in the plant. • Select parties as auditors for QS systems • Serve as the Management Representative of QS 9000 System • Implement new management initiatives in Quality department • Technology Encourage higher level of IT enablement in the plant.
