Position Title: GM / Dy. GM - Export Sales & Marketing (B2B)
Department: Sales & Marketing - International Business
Location: Bhopal/ Mumbai
Industry: Electrical Porcelain Insulators / Power Transmission & Distribution Equipment
Qualifications MBA in Marketing / IB/ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering preferred
Experience: 15 - 20+ years in international sales/exports marketing
(Minimum 7 - 10 years in porcelain insulators or T&D electrical products)
Position Overview
This position is responsible for driving international business growth for porcelain insulators across key global markets. The candidate must have strong domain knowledge of , porcelain/ceramic insulator in B2B market.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Market Development
- Develop and execute export marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
- Identify new international markets and assess their potential for porcelain insulator products.
- Conduct competitive analysis, pricing studies and market intelligence reporting.
- Build and implement long-term business plans for utility, EPC, OEM and distributor segments.
2. Sales & Revenue Management
- Achieve annual export sales targets and ensure profitable growth.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets and MIS.
- Negotiate high-value contracts and tenders with utilities, EPC contractors and distributors globally.
- Ensure timely order conversion and maximize market share in priority geographies.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, utility boards, consultants and strategic partners.
4. Product & Technical Coordination
- Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality departments to meet customer specifications and international standards (IEC, ANSI, BS, IS, etc.).
- Provide market feedback for new product development and design improvements.
- Ensure product certifications and type test requirements for different countries.
5. Export Operations & Compliance
- Oversee export documentation, LC terms, logistics and shipment schedules.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, export controls and statutory requirements.
- Monitor delivery timelines and coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams.
6. Team Leadership
- Lead the export marketing team to improve productivity and customer focus.
- Set KPIs, review performance and drive continuous improvement.
