Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Chingrighata, Kolkata Salary: Up to ₹70,000 per month Experience: Maximum 10 years Job Description: We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on knowledge of accounting, compliance, and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: - Handle end-to-end accounting activities - Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts - Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances - Maintain accurate financial records and MIS reports - Reconcile bank statements and ledgers - Coordinate with auditors and consultants - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies Requirements: - Proven experience as a Senior Accountant - Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and taxation - Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, ERP, etc.) - Good understanding of financial reporting and audits - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month Benefits: - Flexible schedule - Paid sick time - Provident Fund Application Question(s): - How comfortable are you in communicating with clients or vendors in English? - How do you handle TDS calculation, deduction, and filing? - How do you finalize monthly and annual accounts?
