Part-Time Video Editor & Social Media Manager (YouTube & Education Content)

We are launching two YouTube channels focused on: • Lifestyle + Executive Vlogging • Business Education Content We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor & Social Media Manager who can help transform recorded content into high-quality, engaging videos and manage consistent posting across social platforms. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a founder building a strong brand within the wholesale and supply chain industry. Key Responsibilities Video Editing • Edit long-form YouTube videos (10–20 minutes) • Edit short-form content (Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn clips) • Add subtitles, motion graphics, captions, and transitions • Create engaging hooks in the first 15–30 seconds • Maintain a clean, premium, professional editing style • Sync multi-camera footage and audio when required • Create thumbnail suggestions and visual ideas Social Media Management • Schedule and post content across: • YouTube • Instagram • LinkedIn • Facebook • Write engaging captions (UK English) • Repurpose long videos into multiple short clips • Manage hashtags and optimise posting time • Monitor engagement and provide simple weekly reports Brand Development Support • Help maintain a consistent visual identity • Suggest improvements to content format and structure • Assist with Canva templates for recurring posts • Support content calendar planning Ideal Candidate Profile • Strong video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Filmora, Final Cut, CapCut, DaVinci, etc.) • Experience editing YouTube or business-focused content • Understanding of social media algorithms • Comfortable working with professional/educational content • Strong written English (UK English preferred) • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented • Interest in business, wholesale, supply chain, or entrepreneurship is a strong advantage Bonus (Not Mandatory) • Experience editing motivational or executive-style videos • Thumbnail design experience • Knowledge of SEO for YouTube • Experience managing B2B or business-focused accounts What We Offer • Flexible working hours • Long-term growth opportunity • Exposure to the business education • Opportunity to grow with a scaling brand • Creative freedom with structured guidance Compensation Monthly fixed retainer (to be discussed) How to Apply Please send: • Your CV • Portfolio or sample edits (YouTube links preferred) • Social media accounts you’ve managed (if any) • A short paragraph explaining why you’re a good fit Important Note We are an equal opportunity employer.
