Position: Store Sales Manager
Location: Gurgaon DLF Phase 1
Package: 3.5-4.8 LPA
Department: Retail Sales
Reporting To: Area / Regional Sales Manager
Role Objective:
The Store Sales Manager is responsible for driving store sales performance, achieving business targets, managing day-to-day store operations, leading the store team, and ensuring an excellent customer experience, in line with brand standards and company goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Performance
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
• Drive category-wise and product-wise sales performance
• Improve key metrics such as Conversion Rate, Average Bill Value (ABV), and Footfall Productivity
• Plan and execute in-store promotions and sales initiatives
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports and take corrective actions
2. Store Operations Management
• Ensure smooth store opening and closing as per SOPs
• Manage inventory planning, stock availability, and timely replenishment
• Control stock aging, shrinkage, and pilferage
• Maintain Visual Merchandising (VM) as per brand guidelines
• Ensure billing accuracy and smooth functioning of POS systems
3. Team Management & Leadership
• Recruit, train, and onboard store sales staff
• Allocate daily targets and responsibilities to team members
• Motivate and guide the team to achieve individual and store targets
• Conduct regular product and sales training sessions
• Manage staff attendance, rosters, performance, and discipline
4. Customer Experience Management
• Deliver superior customer service and build long-term customer relationships
• Handle customer complaints and escalations efficiently
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Collect customer feedback and implement service improvement actions
5. Local Marketing & Business Development
• Plan and execute local marketing activities (events, society tie-ups, partnerships)
• Track competitor activity and market trends
• Suggest initiatives to increase walk-ins and brand visibility
6. Reporting & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and SOPs
• Prepare and submit sales, inventory, and expense reports on time
• Support audits and maintain proper documentation

• Sales Target Achievement (%)
• Store Revenue & Profitability
• Conversion Rate & Average Bill Value (ABV)
• Inventory Accuracy & Stock Turnover
• Customer Satisfaction Score
• Team Productivity & Attrition
Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate (MBA in Retail / Sales preferred)
4–7 years of retail sales experience (Baby care / Apparel / Lifestyle preferred)
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent
communication skills (English & Hindi)
Target-driven and result-oriented approach
Proficiency in MS Excel and POS systems
