Oracle Cloud OCI DBA

Role Overview This position involves database strategies development, system monitoring, performance improvement, and capacity planning for future expansion requirements. Key Responsibilities • Build, test, automate, and support migration of workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure • Support Continuous Delivery processes for software and infrastructure release • Document solutions (architecture, configuration, and setup) • Apply automated configuration management and infrastructure provisioning • Monitor and optimize database performance • Plan backup and recovery of database information Required Skills & Experience • Working knowledge of XML, JSON, Shell and other DBMS scripts • Hands-on experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, 18, and 19c • Experience with open source databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL • Knowledge of REST Services, UTL functions, DBMS functions • Table level partitions, row locks, and OLTP experience • ETL tools, Data Migration, Data Mapping functionalities • Performance tuning and impact analysis • Experience with Oracle Data Guard/Fast Start Failover • Oracle Multitenant (CDB/PDB) knowledge • Oracle GoldenGate experience • Oracle OCI experience including VM monitoring and database hosting
