Project Engineer /Project Assistant

Applications are invited for the positions of Project Engineer and Project Assistant in the SEMB research project titled “Smart Energy Metering and Billing System (SEMB): Enhancing EV Charging Infrastructure for Efficiency and Accessibility.” Title of the Project: “The Smart Energy Metering and Billing System (SEMB): Enhancing EV Charging Infrastructure for Efficiency and Accessibility” Name of the position: Project Engineer Number of Positions: 01 Essential Qualifications: Candidates must hold an M.Tech/M.E. or equivalent in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in DC/DC converters, power electronics–based chargers, and MATLAB/Simulink modeling. Experience in smart energy systems, EV charging infrastructure, embedded systems, energy metering, and familiarity with communication protocols (RS485, CAN, Modbus, UART) will be an added advantage. Age limit: 40-45 years Salary: 40000-75000 (without HRA) Duration: 01 Year , Extendable as per project funds availability. Name of the position: Project Assistant Number of Positions: 01 Essential Qualifications:Candidates must hold an M.Tech/M.E. or B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with relevant experience. Strong knowledge of smart energy systems, power electronics, embedded systems, EV charging, hardware interfacing, and communication protocols (RS485, Modbus, CAN, UART, SPI, I²C) is required. Experience with smart meters, EMS, renewable energy integration, EV chargers, and IoT-based energy monitoring will be an added advantage.
