You will be responsible for Automation Development, which includes: - Automating existing manual test cases from the Azure DevOps test case backlog into Playwright. - Optimizing and enhancing test scripts for maintainability, reusability, and performance. - Migrating from Selenium by converting existing Selenium-based test cases to Playwright, ensuring functional parity and improved efficiency. You will also be in charge of Test Execution & Maintenance, which involves: - Executing Playwright test suites as per defined cadence and ensuring timely reporting of results. - Troubleshooting automation failures and collaborating with developers and QA teams for quick resolutions. Additionally, you will handle Regression Testing by: - Conducting both manual and automated regression testing for every release cycle (approximately every 6 weeks). - Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using Azure DevOps or relevant tools. You will work on Continuous Improvement by: - Collaborating with QA and DevOps teams to integrate Playwright automation into CI/CD pipelines. - Proactively recommending improvements in automation strategy, frameworks, and test processes. Qualifications Required: - 36 years of experience in Software Testing with at least 2+ years in Automation using Playwright. - Strong understanding of Selenium, .Net, and test automation best practices. - Experience in Azure DevOps for test case management and defect tracking. - Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure Pipelines. - Good understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and smoke testing. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience migrating automation suites from Selenium to Playwright. - Exposure to API automation (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, Playwright API testing). - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
