Full Stack Developer – SaaS & Backend Lead (Node.js / Next.js + Python Exposure)

📍 Location: Chandigarh (Hybrid / Remote flexibility) 🕒 Flexible hours with partial Canada overlap 🎓 Education: B.Tech / BE in Computer Science or related field (Required) About the Role: We are a growing technology startup building SaaS platforms, ERP/TMS systems, automation tools, and AI-powered solutions. We are looking for a strong Full Stack Developer who can take ownership of backend architecture and SaaS module delivery. This role requires strong system thinking, production discipline, and the ability to design scalable backend services. You will work closely with: An AI-focused Python engineer A full stack integrations developer Product leadership Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop scalable backend APIs using Node.js • Architect multi-tenant SaaS modules • Implement authentication & role-based access control (RBAC) • Design optimized PostgreSQL database schemas • Build structured and maintainable backend code • Develop dashboards using Next.js + Tailwind • Define clean API contracts between services • Collaborate on integrating AI services into product features • Deliver a complete SaaS module within initial months Required Qualifications • B.Tech / BE in Computer Science or related technical field • 4–6 years of practical software development experience • Strong backend development experience in Node.js • Experience building SaaS or multi-user systems • Solid understanding of authentication and RBAC systems • Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases • Experience working with Next.js (dashboard and API integration) • Practical Python experience (scripts, API integrations, FastAPI basics) • Experience integrating third-party APIs • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills Good to Have • Supabase experience • Experience designing multi-tenant systems • Exposure to AI/LLM APIs • Basic DevOps knowledge (Vercel/AWS) • Experience mentoring junior developers Growth Path • Technical ownership of product architecture • Leadership opportunity in the India development team • Performance-based salary revision after 12 months • Exposure to AI-driven systems
