Software Tester (Manual & Automation Testing)

As a skilled and detail-oriented Software Tester with 3-6 years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing, you will join our dynamic Quality Assurance (QA) team. You should possess a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and executing manual test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications. - Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using defect management tools. - Performing functional, regression, integration, and system testing. - Verifying the applications behavior, performance, and usability. - Collaborating with business analysts and developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage. In addition, you will be responsible for: - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts for functional and regression testing. - Using automation testing tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or others to enhance test coverage and efficiency. - Integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Maintaining and updating automation frameworks and scripts as needed. Your role will also involve collaboration and documentation tasks such as: - Working closely with development teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and provide feedback on product quality. - Reviewing product requirements and technical documentation to create clear and concise test cases. - Preparing and maintaining test documentation, including test cases, test data, and execution reports. - Providing regular updates on testing progress and defect status to project managers and stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be expected to: - Evaluate and recommend new testing tools, technologies, and best practices. - Contribute to the overall improvement of testing processes and practices. - Perform root cause analysis of defects and work with the development team to address issues. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
