Position: Senior Associate – Dispute Resolution
Location: New Delhi (Work from Office)
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and committed legal professionals to join our Dispute Resolution practice, with a long-term career orientation and a robust interest in growing within the firm toward leadership and partnership status.
The role is suited for a lawyer who not only demonstrates technical legal excellence but also aspires to build and manage client relationships, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the development of practice areas over time. The selected candidate will be expected to take increasing ownership of matters, clients, and internal team coordination as the role evolves.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation
- Independently represent clients before District Courts, High Courts, tribunals, commissions, and other judicial and quasi-judicial authorities.
- Take primary responsibility for strategizing, drafting, and vetting pleadings including petitions, writs, affidavits, counter-affidavits, appeals, applications, notices, and civil or criminal complaints.
- Manage end-to-end litigation processes including filings, court appearances, inquiries, and execution proceedings.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring consistent communication, strategic guidance, and long-term relationship management.
- Liaise with statutory, regulatory, and quasi-judicial authorities and coordinate procedural and compliance-related aspects of matters.
- Guide and supervise junior associates and interns on drafting, research, and procedural aspects, ensuring quality control and knowledge transfer.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate or Post-Graduate in Law from a reputed institution such as National Law University (NLU), Symbiosis Law School, Jindal Global Law School, GLC (Mumbai), or Campus Law Centre (Delhi).
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience as a practicing advocate, with exposure to litigation and/or corporate matters.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and legal reasoning skills.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated intent to build a long-term career within a law firm environment, with the ability to gradually assume leadership, client-handling, and team-management responsibilities.
Salary: As per industry standards.
