About the job: Senior/Junior Research Fellow Positionfor Biomass Experiments Date of posting vacancy: March 3, 2026 Deadline: March 20, 2026 Duration: 1 Year Job Description: Brief outline of the job to be carried out under this project: For SRF/JRF Designing the experiments and preparing various types of biomass pellets and testing them for various properties such as strength, density, RDI, etc. Testing their performance in a down-draft gasifier to produce syngas. The candidate may also be involved in leaching experiments. The candidate will be interacting with other researchers as well as may discharge any other duties assigned to him/her. Desirable: Experience in testing biomass pellets and leaching would be advantageous. Essential Qualification - SRF: SRF/JRF:ME or BE in Chemical, Metallurgy and other related fields including M.Sc. in Chemistry with 1-2 years experience (GATE or NET qualified will be preferred) Other information: The consolidated salary will be in the range of 28,000/- to 42,000/- Indian Rupees (INR) per month depending up on qualification and experience. The initial appointment would be for 6 months extendable for another 6 months depending up on the satisfactory performance of the candidate.
