Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Ship Repair Manager, based in Kattupalli. The Ship Repair Manager will oversee and manage repair projects for vessels in berth or at outer anchorage. Responsibilities include building and setting up a strong team for longtime growth with the ship yard. Supervising teams, ensuring quality standards, coordinating with yard management and adhering to safety and regulatory compliance. The role demands hands-on involvement in planning, execution, and troubleshooting across various repair and maintenance operations. Qualifications Technical knowledge in Ship Repairs, including structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Leadership and team management skills to oversee a skilled workforce effectively. Proficiency in planning, project management, and resource allocation. Familiarity with industry standards, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols. Communication and client relationship management skills to ensure project expectations are met. Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical challenges in ship repairs. Educational qualifications in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field preferred. Working knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems is an advantage. Past experience in shipyard or maritime industry roles will be beneficial.
